A visa application takes a large amount of time, mostly due to the long waiting time before an appointment at the embassy can be sheduled. After the appointment it may take several weeks before you actually receive the visa. Therefore it is very important that you start to arrange your visa as soon as possible! We advice you to get in touch with the embassy as soon as you receive the confirmation for participation from us.

In any case, we will try to help you in every way we can. We will provide presenting participants with an official invitation letter for the congress, which will make it easier for you to get a visa. We will send you the invitation letter via e-mail. Please, print out this confirmation letter and bring it along to the embassy when you have your appointment.

Besides the letter, we will inform the embassy about the ESC and why you are invited to Germany. This should also help you to obtain your visa.
