The AMJ has been established to publish material from a broad base of medical and paramedical researchers / experts. We publish a variety of papers ranging from research and audit through to discussion and opinion pieces. We are especially keen to receive papers from new and emerging experts including  students. Above all the AMJ adheres to the highest standards in research with particular emphasis on the novelty of ideas but also the methodological and ethical rigor.
The International Students Congress Of Medical Sciences (ISCOMS) is one of the world's leading student congress on (bio)medical sciences. With around 300 presenting participants and even more passive participants it’s a great venue for student research exchange. We offer an attractive programme with student plenary presentations, oral presentations, poster presentations, fascinating workshops and great keynote lectures. You can even apply for an ISCOMS Research Fellowship where you can get a taste for doing research within the UMCG.

We would be glad to welcome you as a participant of the ISCOMS, which will be held on the 8th until 11th of June 2010 in Groningen, The Netherlands. The deadline of abstract submission is 15th February 2010. For more information please visit our website: www.iscoms.com.
The International Federation of Medical Students' Associations (IFMSA) is an independent, non-governmental and non-political federation of medical students' associations throughout the world.

In 2008 IFMSA had 102 members, National Member Organizations from 95 countries across the six continents and represented more than 1 million medical students worldwide.

EMSA was founded by medical students, with an idea that it would benefit medical students in some way. Over the years, many ideas were expressed and many of them realized on how to make medical students, members of EMSA, to benefit as much as possible from EMSA.
The LIMSC is a three-day student conference on (bio)medical-related research projects. Students from all over the world will have the opportunity to present their research results either in oral or poster presentation sessions. Prominent international speakers will hold guest lectures or lead workshops.

Furthermore, a social programme will be organized. This will give participants the opportunity to meet and establish contacts with international colleagues in an informal atmosphere. And last but not least, the Career and Internship Fair will provide a host of information on Master's programmes, internships and (bio)medical-related jobs.

International Medical Students Congress in Novi Sad is an annual event organized by EMSA - Novi Sad. Every summer Faculty of Medicine in Novi Sad welcomes students of biomedical sciences from all around the world to present their research works, meet each other, share experience and make friends.

As multidisciplinary event we are also aiming at collaboration between students of different biomedical sciences, by providing them a place and time to meet and socialize. We are trying to improve our conference every year both scientifically and socially, and to show what one small country, city and medical faculty are capable of doing.

Scrubs is an Undergraduate Medical student society in Queen's University, Belfast.

We organise events and workshops for students which are mostly themed around acute medicine, surgery and immediate care. We aim to provide students with the opportunity to develop interests in clinical or academic medicine and surgery, to interact vertically with other students both within QUB, throughout the UK, Ireland and beyond and to interact socially and professionally with other healthcare professionals. As well as talks and workshops, our main event of the year is the "Acute Medicine and Trauma Conference" which is open to all medical students and runs in QUB every March.
